I truly believe it is really important to address this wonderful phenomenon of merged cultures. Certainly, all (but especially, first-generation) immigrants are a cultural hybrid, an explosive mixture of various ideas, beliefs and lifestyles that seem so different when placed side by side. However, life circumstances melt these facets together into truly unique pieces of art, that shine from within all of us.
