“Jirtdan” closely resembles the German fairy tale of “Hansel and Gretel,” in which a brother and sister, who lose their way in the forest, finally outsmart and escape an evil witch who intends to eat them. As in a mono-play, the singer’s ability to transform into various characters of the fairy tale is important: from the caring mother of Jyrtdan to himself, from his friends to the evil Diva the giant.
