In 2012, the Italian organization “Fondazione Adkins Chiti: Donne in Musica” announced a competition among women-composers all over the world. 90 women from 23 countries (Argentina Australia Austria Azerbaijan Belgium Czech Republic Denmark France Germania Greece Italia Latvia Polonia Russia Serbia Slovakia Spain Sweden Taiwan Turkey UK Uruguay USA) submitted 108 works written for chamber orchestra. The ‘Lamentation’ became one of the winners out of four works that had been chosen to be performed at Auditorium Pollini, Padova, Italy.
